    Terms and Conditions for Levahealth AB

    1. General

    These terms and conditions govern the relationship between you as a customer and patient ("you") and Levahealth AB ("LEVA", "we", "us") with organisation number 559361-1279.

    The terms apply when you order or use our services via the website www.levahealth.se or through other contact with us.

    By ordering or using our services, you accept these terms.

    LEVA provides medical services focused on risk assessment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. The service is a complement to regular healthcare and does not replace primary care, specialist care or emergency care.

    In case of acute symptoms, such as chest pain, difficulty breathing or other suspected cardiac symptoms, you should immediately contact 1177 or the nearest emergency department.

    LEVA reserves the right to update or change these terms and to develop, modify or discontinue parts of the service. The latest version of the terms is always published on our website.

    2. Service content

    LEVA offers a medical service focused on identifying risk of cardiovascular disease in apparently healthy individuals.

    The core service is LEVA's health assessment, which may include:

    • cardiovascular risk assessment based on established risk models (including SCORE2)
    • blood pressure measurement
    • relevant blood tests
    • medical analysis of results
    • a written medical statement

    Risk assessment

    After analysis of collected data, a medical assessment is made.

    Low risk: You receive a medical statement with recommendations.

    Elevated risk: You are offered a video consultation with a cardiologist where the results are discussed and the need for further investigation is assessed.

    3. Further examinations

    Following medical assessment, further examinations may be offered, for example:

    • Calcium score (CACS)
    • CT angiography of the heart (CT heart)

    These examinations are performed by Evidia, an established healthcare provider in diagnostic imaging.

    The purpose of the examinations is to improve individual risk assessment and identify possible coronary artery disease.

    Based on the results, LEVA can offer an individualised plan that may include:

    Certain parts of the service are performed by external partners.

    Laboratory tests

    Blood tests and blood pressure measurements are performed by Synlab, an independent healthcare provider responsible for the quality and execution of the tests.

    Radiological examinations

    Calcium score and CT heart are performed by Evidia, which is responsible for imaging, technical safety and radiological assessment.

    LEVA is responsible for the medical risk assessment, counselling and individual follow-up within the scope of our services.

    5. Target group

    The service is aimed at women and men aged 40 and over without symptoms of cardiovascular disease.

    The service is intended for preventive risk assessment in individuals who otherwise consider themselves healthy.

    The service is not intended for diagnosis or treatment of acute medical conditions.

    6. Medical limitations

    LEVA's services aim to identify risk factors and possible early signs of cardiovascular disease.

    However, medical examinations and risk assessments have limitations. This means, among other things, that:

    • some diseases can be difficult to detect
    • examinations may produce false negative or false positive results
    • unexpected findings may arise that require further medical investigation

    Medical recommendations are based on the information you provide and on medical knowledge at the time of the assessment.

    The service therefore cannot guarantee that disease is not present or will not develop.

    7. Customer responsibilities

    You are responsible for providing correct and complete information about your health, medications and medical background.

    You are also responsible for:

    • following instructions given prior to examinations
    • providing correct contact information
    • notifying changes in relevant health information

    If incorrect or incomplete information is provided, this may affect the quality of the medical assessment.

    LEVA reserves the right to discontinue or refuse the service in cases of abuse, false information or unserious bookings.

    8. Payment

    LEVA's health assessment is paid for at the time of ordering via our website.

    Payment can be made via, for example:

    • card payment
    • Swish
    • other available payment solutions

    Further examinations such as Calcium score or CT heart are paid for separately as instructed at the time of booking.

    Full payment must be completed before a video consultation or examination is carried out.

    9. Cancellation

    Cancellation of a booked examination must be made according to the information in the appointment notice.

    Cancellation must normally be made at least 24 hours before the booked time.

    In case of late cancellation or missed appointment, the full fee may be charged as resources have been reserved.

    10. Right of withdrawal

    As a private individual, you have the right under the Distance Contracts Act to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the order date.

    If the service begins before the withdrawal period has expired and this is done with your consent, the right of withdrawal ceases to the extent that the service has already been performed.

    When blood sampling, blood pressure measurement or video consultation has been completed, the service is considered to have begun.

    Refund is made within 14 days of receiving your message, provided that the service has not begun.

    11. Medical records and personal data

    LEVA is a healthcare provider and maintains patient records in accordance with the Patient Data Act (PDL).

    Patient data is processed in accordance with:

    • the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
    • the Patient Data Act
    • other relevant legislation

    The data is used only for:

    12. Intellectual property rights

    All content on the website, including text, graphics, images, logos and trademarks, belongs to LEVA or its licensors.

    The material may not be copied, distributed or used without written permission.

    13. Limitation of liability

    LEVA provides medical risk assessment based on available information and current medical knowledge.

    The service cannot guarantee that cardiovascular disease is not present or will not develop despite completed examination or risk assessment.

    LEVA is only liable to the extent required by mandatory Swedish law and only in cases of negligence.

    LEVA is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages or financial losses to the extent such limitation of liability is permitted by law.

    14. Force majeure

    LEVA is not responsible for delays or interruptions in the service caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as:

    • technical disruptions
    • operational disruptions at partner organisations
    • government decisions
    • strikes
    • pandemics
    • other unforeseen events

    15. Applicable law and disputes

    These terms are governed by Swedish law.

    Disputes shall primarily be resolved through dialogue between the parties.

    If a dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be tried by a Swedish court, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
